You may get a weather forecast on the desktop

There are only two things on the Earth that you may not predict. They are women and weather. The object of article is not women. The history of efforts to foresee the weather has its starting in ancient times. But until today it hasn't been worked out completely. With the advent of computers it has become possible to do numeric forecasts, i.e. creating a model of the atmosphere, inputting the known parameters and estimating the future state of the atmosphere on the basis of these numbers.

The results which are generated by even the newest software are commonly approximate. Weather foreseeing is a complicated task, because any mistake in initial conditions may spoil the result. Chaos theory is a detached chapter of physics which studies chaotic systems as weather.

The good news is that you do not have to be a scientist to know the weather for the next couple of days. There is a great deal of various ways to obtain the needed information. You may listen to it on the radio, see a weather forecast on TV or go to your favorite weather prediction internet site. The further methods allow getting the prediction significantly faster.
