The thing that the house edge is not immutable makes blackjack so general game among other gambling games. You will win a hand only in the case that is dependent on the mixed cards that still are not dealt. If the cards in the deck are high it will support the gambler. The dealer will be in favor in that case if the deck includes low cards. Of course, gamblers can calculate the cards to identify the edge at Blackjack. This term doesn't make you to calculate each card that is dealt from the deck. Try to clarify the ratio of high cards to low cards that are left in the deck. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are the low cards and they settle the value of plus one. Such cards are useful to the dealer. He must take a hit if their totality score is under seventeen. If there are more low cards in the deck they are less likely to bust.

If the dealer must take a hit he will fail in this case when the deck contains a lot of high cards.

There are also neutral cards that have no value and should not be counted. They are seven, eight and nine. If you count 52 card deck using these values the total will be 0. The quantity of high and low cards is equal that makes the Hi/Lo system the most proportional system of counting.
