FINALISTS SELECTED FOR THE BEN FRANKLIN EMERGING BUSINESS AWARDS

July 27th, 2007

After reviewing many of the region’s most exciting business ventures nominated for the 2003 Ben Franklin Emerging Business Awards, a distinguished panel of judges has narrowed the field to twelve finalists. Five winners will be honored in early March, for their breakthrough technologies, product innovations, management excellence, and commitment to entrepreneurialism. The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia and Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania founded the Ben Franklin Emerging Business Awards, popularly known as the “Bennies”, in 1994.

Because this year’s “Bennies” coincides with the founding organizations’ 20th anniversaries, the program will include special anniversary components in honor of their achievement. The “Bennies” will be held on March 6, at the Ballroom at the Ben, 9th & Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA, beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by a networking dinner reception.
The finalists outlined below represent a wide range of industries offering exciting technologies and business innovations.
