Automation is a popular word nowadays. Many companies attempt to promote their solutions to the market. Usually they are quite attractive and have got lots of great characteristics, but it is only the first view. During the research of various personnel management software programs, I found that its utilizing has more drawbacks than benefits. There are several reasons why I do not use them.

Reason 1: You must pay for it. Almost all obtainable employee management software is payware. In addition to setting up fee, you must pay for maintenance, updates and support. Some people think that the advantages outweigh the costs. If you distinctly see how the advantages do it, pay. If you don't, hold the funds. Money is the lesser evil.

Reason 2: It is not so easy to use such programs, you will have to learn it. Human resource software is a quite complicated kind of software. If you do not have your own PC geek and you are not a geek yourself, be ready for days of struggling with the program.

Reason 3: You will spend lots of money and time to teach your employee to utilize this soft. The personnel won't learn that program willingly because they are going to be controlled by it. Some people just can't learn to use the calculator, what would they do with such soft? They do not want to learn because that time is not paid.

Reason 4: Employee scheduler software distances you from people. Operating your personnel by yourself, not from distance, you will perform it better with assistance of your charismatic personality. Automation causes de-humanization of company. Workers have the feeling that they are only little parts of the structure. It may be cool for a traditional factory, but does not work for a today's competitive corporation that requires every bit of creativity it is able to press out of its employees.

Reason 5: Everybody is getting it. That type of soft is usually being produced in thousands copies. But if you decided to purchase the unique program it would cost you a great deal of money. Even the brilliant program will not let you attract, keep and operate the excellent minds. You should be various, if you want to be successful. Do not forget that PC and its soft can not make decisions like man do.

Wonderfully, you can get a lot of such benefits simply using inexpensive instruments you already own such as pencil and paper, for example. Computers can not operate without people, so it is better to employ some stuff then to invest in software.
